    As an Executive Casino host you are responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for guests and employees, promoting and retaining a highly skilled work force.  The incumbent is also responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract high-limit players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.  Work requires superior communication and judgmental skills, as the position is called upon to interact frequently with high-limit customers and make decisions regarding extensions of large sums of money and complimentaries.

    1. Provides, develops and focuses on the acquisition of high-end players within the local and external markets, cultivates and develops groups with potential gaming profiles, assuring continued growth of the customer database market.
    2. Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategies and programs to cultivate the market for new and existing high-limit casino guests.
    3. Monitors existing high-limit guest programs and develops knowledge of customer betting habits, credit situations and levels of participation in order to manage programs to ensure maximum profit margins, adequate play levels and appropriate cost control; awards customer complimentaries based on gaming action and program guidelines.
    4. Coordinates guestrooms, meals and show reservations, and assists guests with questions and special requests to ensure coordination of guests’ needs to provide their maximum convenience and comfort.
    5. Understands and monitors department objectives, standards, guidelines and budget to ensure proper supervision of department.
    6. Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategies and programs to cultivate the market for new and existing high-limit casino guests.
    7. Organizes special functions (parties, tournaments, etc.) and participates in telemarketing efforts to invite customers to special events, individual visits and/or obtain feedback on customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including player-tracking system, AS/400, computer keyboard, telephone.
    • Ability to review and comprehend player-tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
    • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
    • Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules.
    • This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.

    What are we looking for?

    • Demonstrated knowledge of all casino gaming, as well as regular high-limit customers and their betting habits, in order to make knowledgeable decisions regarding credit extensions. 
    • Ability to communicate effectively in order to understand and meet the needs of preferred customers.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make decisions regarding credit limits.
    • Ability to network and establish relationships with individual prospective customers and groups that displays and demonstrates potential gaming value.

    These skills and abilities are typically acquired through Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Liberal Arts and a minimum of two years’ progressive casino customer contact experience, with at least one year in a casino service role administering a player-tracking system; or through a high school education or equivalent, and three years’ progressive casino services in a development role administering a player-tracking system.
