  • What would I be doing?

    Come join our award winning Casino as a Slot Tech Manager! 

    • Deliver internal and external guest service.
    • Oversee scheduling, training, development, motivation and supervision of slot technical personnel. Recommend and approve wage increases, promotions, evaluation ratings and other employment actions.
    • Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop, monitor and lead subordinate personnel in such a manner to maintain a positive employee relations culture. Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for subordinate personnel.
    • Maintain, through supervision and direct observation, a continuous awareness of all gaming devices and gaming areas. Respond appropriately to any deficiencies or technical service needs.
    • Ensure slot technical staff is trained on and complies with internal control procedures as they apply to machine removal, installation, maintenance and key control.
    • Assists in the preparation of operating budgets, monitors budgetary compliance and takes action on budget variance items.
    • Directs routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of video, electronic gaming devices, electronic boards and the on-line electronic gaming device system.
    • Ensure timely installation and repair of slot machines in coordination with slot repair operations; coordinate and implement slot machine placement changes or slot floor moves.
    • Continually assess technological advances, both internal and external, to the business environment for opportunities that will enhance the guest experience.
    • Ensure adequate inventory of all necessary parts and tool inventories.
    • Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic NRT equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
    • Replaces parts which have caused malfunctions; may repair some parts, with assistance.
    • May utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
    • May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
    • Promote a safe and secure working environment.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off.

    What are we looking for?

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
    • Knowledge of Slot Data and Player Tracking Systems.
    • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must sustain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
    • Ability to research, analyze, comprehend and act upon information and be aware of the business environment in order to effectively manage areas of responsibility.
    • Ability to develop, execute and link strategic department objectives to company goals.
    • Ability to perform numerical analysis and interpret reports and analyses through the use of computers and calculators.
    • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, outside contacts and all levels of employees.
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Must be able to work within a smoke-filled environment
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
    • Demonstrated slot management experience.

    Preferred Education and Work Experience:

    • Two years leadership experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of overall principles of slot operations, industry trends and related marketing objectives.
    • Thorough understanding of the market and changes in operating environment.
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
    • Understanding of gaming regulations related to slot operations necessary.
    • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Slot Accounting Systems preferred)
